Minnesota Deer Hunters Association donates to Bemidji boy scouts, plans fundraising banquet

BEMIDJI — The Northwoods Chapter of the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association recently donated $300 to the Bemidji Area Scout Troop No. 4082 for all their efforts in improving local outdoor habitats including removing trash and debris from highway shoulders and ditches.

The scout troops plan to use the donation by sending participants to camps to earn shooting, archery and orienteering badges.

The MDHA chapter will hold a fundraising banquet at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29, at the Bemidji Eagles Club.

All proceeds raised from this event will go to support local youth shooting sports, local deer habitat improvement and hunter education.
