A secret no more: Canada's 1st codebreaking unit comes out of the shadows

Parks Canada has unveiled a plaque marking the site of Canada’s first cryptographic bureau, the Examination Unit, in Ottawa's Sandy Hill neighbourhood. For decades the unit's secretive nature kept it out of the spotlight, even though it played an important role in Canada's war efforts.
