Myrna Greenwood, 80, Grafton, passed away Sunday, Oct. 4, 2020, at Unity Medical Center of Grafton.
Services will be Friday, Oct. 9, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Masks are recommended and social distancing guidelines will be followed. Inurnment will be at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials go to Unity Medical Center of Grafton.
Myrna Larson was born Sept. 30, 1940, in Langdon, to the late Francis and Burness (Henderson) Larson. She was raised in the Calvin area and graduated from Calvin High School. She attended Mercy School of Nursing in Valley City, graduating with her registered nursing degree. She married James Greenwood on Aug. 5, 1961, in Devils Lake and they made their home in Grafton. She worked at the Grafton Clinic and Unity Hospital, but retired from nursing serving homecare and hospice families. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church and American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children: Jaymes Greenwood, Cass Lake, Minnesota, and Jacqueline (Kit) Midgarden, Hoople; three grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, William Larson.
