Glenn A. Drevecky, age 78, originally of Adams, North Dakota, passed away on July 27, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Center in Park River, North Dakota.
Glenn was born June 19, 1940 to the late Theodore and Emily (Hendrickson) Drevecky. Glenn served in the U.S. Army, and then worked for more than 25 years as a machinist for the Boeing Company in the Seattle area. He loved hunting and woodworking, and will be remembered fondly for his sense of humor and knack for storytelling.
Survivors include his children Keith Drevecky, LeAnna Toweill, and Laura Smith from his marriage to Cheryl Drevecky; his siblings Harold Drevecky, Robert Drevecky, Joann Okeson, Theda Rye, James Drevecky, and Nancy Kadlec; and grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Theodore and Emily Drevecky, his sisters Ione Coleman and Evadine Ratliff, and two nieces and a nephew.
A funeral service will be held at Tollefson Funeral Home in Park River on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Military rites will be provided by the Park River American Legion Post #147 and the North Dakota National Guard Honor Guard. Interment will be at Sarepta Lutheran Cemetery in Adams.
