CALL FOR BIDS
The Kittson Central Board of Education of Independent School District #2171, Hallock, Minnesota, will receive bids for the following commodities and services for the 2018-19 school year. PLEASE BID ACCORDING TO SPECIFICATIONS ONLY, IN ORDER TO AVOID PROBLEMS IN AWARDING BID ACCEPTANCE.
1. FUEL, regular gasoline and diesel grade – approximately 24,000 gallons per year for all district’s buses and small vehicles to be filled at a local service station as needed.
2. DAIRY PRODUCTS – to include 1%, skim and chocolate skim milk in half-pint containers, assorted ice cream bars and sandwiches, ice cream dixie cups, push-ups, cottage cheese, sour cream containers and packets, with delivery to the school site two times per week.
District bid sheets must be obtained and submitted in sealed envelopes to the Office of the Superintendent, Kittson Central Schools, P.O. Box 670, Hallock, MN 56728. Bid sheets and additional information may be obtained from the Superintendent’s Office. The envelope should be properly marked on the outside as a bid to show items being bid on and the firm making the bid. Specifications must equal or better state requirements. All bids are to be firm bids for the school year unless otherwise specified by the bidder.
Deadline for submitting bids is 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2018 with bid awards by the board on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. in the District Board Room. The board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
