Resolution Confirming Sale of Property
This was an item that was previously missed and needs to be cleared up as Carr Landscaping is also getting and EDA revolving loan.
Councilor Larson moved to approve Resolution 2018-04 confirming the Sale of Property to Carr Landscaping LLC. The motion was seconded by Councilor Waller and carried unanimously.
Utility Department Positions
Council reviewed the five (5) applications received for the Utility Superintendent Position. They decided to grant interviews to all five (5). Grafstrom thought the names needed to be public since they were discussed in the meeting and chosen for interviews. Council decided, since some of them work local, they would not list the names in the minutes but have them available on file at the city office if anyone wants to know who applied. Grafstrom will contact the candidates and set up the interviews. Interviews will be conducted by Mayor Treumer, Councilor Mike Totleben and Angela Grafstrom on May 24 and 25, 2018.
Councilor Waller motioned to closing the special meeting under MN Statute 13D.05, subdivision 3(a) at 6: 18 pm to conduct a performance review of Angela Grafstrom. The motion was seconded by Councilor Peterson and carried unanimously.
Having completed the performance review of Angela Grafstrom, Councilor Peterson motioned to adjourn the closed meeting and reopen the special meeting at 8:55 pm. The motion was seconded by Councilor Larson and carried unanimously.
Summary of Closed Meeting Performance Review of Angela Grafstrom will be presented at the next open meeting on June 4, 2018.
Councilor Waller motioned to have dirt hauled in and grass planted to fill the holes at Gazebo Park by the city crew or whoever could do it the quickest. Motion seconded by Councilor Totleben and carried unanimously.
There being no further business, Councilor Peterson moved to adjourn the Special Meeting of the Hallock City Council of May 21, 2018. The motion was seconded by Councilor Waller and carried unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
