A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at United Methodist Church in Langdon for Kenneth Welsh, 72, of Langdon, who passed away February 28, 2018, in Langdon.
Kenneth was born June 28, 1945, to Harold and Irene (Iverson) Welsh in Langdon. He grew up and attended school in Loam Township. Kenny and Carol Domres were married November 5, 1965, in Fargo. They farmed and raised their family on their farm northeast of Langdon in Harvey Township. He was quick-witted and loved to tease. He looked forward to his long afternoon drives with his dog to see the land, watch his sons and grandsons working, and to do some visiting along the way. In his younger days, he also enjoyed raising cattle and even named the calves. He enjoyed watching westerns, Wheel of Fortune, and The Price is Right. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving Kenny are his wife, Carol, of Langdon; children: David (Stacey) Welsh of Langdon, Sherry (Steve) Buchweitz of Alsen, and Kevin (Steph) Welsh of Langdon; grandchildren: Dalton, Kayla, Andrew, Landon, Brittany, Austen, Ana, Lindsey, Grant, Ally, Tucker, and Cole; six great-grandchildren; siblings: Gary (Mary) Welsh of Thompson, Shirley (Roger) Christianson of Walhalla, and Sharon (Lynn) Ring of Langdon; mother-in-law Marjorie Domres of Langdon; and brother-in-law Fred (Judy) Domres of Wales.
